This page explains what the Monsters VS Guards store keeps about you and why. The store is run by Tebex Limited.
What we keep
- Your Minecraft account: its UUID (your account here), your current username as the game server reports it, and a small picture of your skin's face for the header: the store looks your UUID up at Mojang's session server (or takes the skin the game server saw) and keeps only the face, made from your skin on Mojang's texture server.
- Your orders: what you bought, when, for how much, and the payment's status and reference from Tebex. We don't receive or keep your card details. Tebex sends us your name, e-mail and address with a payment; we don't store any of them.
- Your Stardust history: every change to your Stardust, as the game server records it.
- Your ranks, Daily Freebie claims and preferences (theme, currency).
- Sign-in records: a hash of the sign-in code and of the browser's token, and salted hashes of the network address and browser (to spot abuse), kept for a few days; for each signed-in browser, a hash of its session id, how it signed in, when it was last used and a salted hash of the browser's description (so you can sign out everywhere).
- Discord sign-in: if you use "Continue with Discord", your Discord user id (a public number, never your Discord password or token) with the time you signed in, and which of our accounts it opened. Discord's access token is thrown away right after asking who you are.
- The consent you give at checkout: the exact text, its version and the time, with the order.
Why
To deliver what you buy to your Minecraft account, to keep correct accounts of payments and Stardust, to handle refunds and disputes, and to keep the store secure.
Who else
- Tebex processes payments as the seller of record (their privacy policy applies to the payment).
- The Monsters VS Guards game server receives your UUID and what you bought, to deliver it.
- Our Discord integration keeps the link between your Discord and Minecraft accounts (made when you confirmed it in game) and learns your ranks, to give you the matching roles; the store asks it which account a Discord sign-in belongs to.
- Mojang is asked for your public Minecraft profile (by UUID) to show your head.
Cookies
One cookie keeps you signed in (an opaque id; your cart is kept with your account, not in the cookie) and remembers your preferences. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
How long
Orders, payments and the Stardust history are kept as long as accounting and tax rules require. Sign-in records are deleted after a few days.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may be able to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how it's used. Ask us: support@tebex.io.
